Another artist has decided to join the Fosseland team. Toronto based still life painter Joanne Helman is pleased to add her unique take on traditional oil painting to Fosseland Fine Art’s online gallery. Joanne works in all sizes with her work found in kitchens and offices all over Canada and abroad. Bring new life to your home by adding some of Joanne’s fruit which look good enough to eat! Joanne’s fruit paintings will be on display with all of Fosseland’s artists on May 8th at the Ancaster Old Town Hall. Contact us to find out more about up-coming events.

We are busy planning upcoming events and shows for Fosseland.  There will be many places to see the work of Fosseland’s artists throughout the summer including Ancaster Heritage Days Festival, Dundas Cactus Festival, along with indoor shows planned for May and July.  Stop by to see Fosseland at the events and get the chance to see artists painting live.

It’s been very busy at Fosseland adding more and more new work to the website.  Recent additions in figurative, sculpture, photography and printmaking, must be seen.  We are now pleased to be displaying a variety of artwork by 21 talented Canadian artists.  There is more to come so keep an eye on the website, this blog and follow us on Twitter.

We are well underway in preparing for the Art Sale at the Cambridge Arts Centre on March 27th and look forward to seeing everyone there.  Coffee, tea and cakes will be served while you browse the work at the show and on the website.  If you are in the area early there is a Farmer’s Market nearby which is worth checking out.  Parking is available behind the Art Centre in the City Hall parking lot or on the other side of the Square out in front of the building.
